SuperFi Labs Raises $2.5M to Bridge TradFi and DeFi

6:12 PM · Dec 4, 2024 · SuperFi Labs, a pioneering DeFi infrastructure provider building next-generation on-chain consumer products, today announced it has secured $2.5 million in Pre-A funding. The round was led by Linklogis (HKEx: 9959), a publicly listed supply chain fintech leader, with participation from notable blockchain investors including SNZ Holding, Taiko, and ByteTrade. This follows an earlier seed round led by Generative Ventures.

SuperFi Labs is focused on bridging the gap between traditional finance and decentralized finance (DeFi) by building products that onboard the next million users into Web3. The company aims to unlock the $400 trillion+ real-world asset (RWA) market for DeFi participants through its innovative dual-sided marketplace.

This marketplace addresses two key market needs:

  • Asset Origination: SuperFi's infrastructure empowers institutional-grade asset managers to tokenize and distribute traditional financial products through DeFi channels. This unlocks new distribution opportunities while maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Yield Generation: Through its proprietary protocols, AgentFi and Sake, SuperFi provides DeFi users access to previously unavailable real-world yields. These protocols are already operational across multiple blockchain networks.

"As a fintech processing over $40 billion in annual assets through AI, blockchain, and cloud solutions, we see tremendous potential in SuperFi’s approach to bridging traditional finance and DeFi," said a representative from Linklogis. "Their platform could fundamentally reshape how real-world assets generate yield in the digital asset ecosystem."

SuperFi Labs' CEO added, "This strategic capital will accelerate our product roadmap and market expansion. We're focused on scaling our infrastructure to reduce friction between traditional finance and DeFi, delivering stable, uncorrelated yields to digital asset holders while opening new distribution channels for traditional assets."

The funding will be used to expand the SuperFi team, further develop its protocols, and accelerate the launch of its RWA platform, built in partnership with Linklogis. This platform will further enhance access to decentralized supply chain finance.
